“The Pins Are In”

Welcome to the 2026 Golf Season
The wait is over—the pins are in, and the 2026 golf season is officially underway.
We are incredibly excited for the season ahead and look forward to welcoming each of you back to the course. There’s a renewed energy around the Club, and this year brings a number of exciting enhancements designed to elevate your experience both on and off the course.
This season, members will enjoy a brand-new fleet of golf carts equipped with upgraded GPS systems, along with a full calendar of clinics, tournaments, junior camps, and demo days. We are also proud to once again host the prestigious IKE Qualifier and to serve as the home course for the 2026 US Kids Westchester Tour, continuing our commitment to supporting and growing the game for players of all ages.
A Growing Team Focused on Your Experience
Our golf and instruction program continues to be led by Michael Davis, PGA, who oversees all aspects of the golf experience at the Club. Michael and his team are committed to delivering a program that is both engaging and welcoming for players at every level.
We are also pleased to introduce two outstanding additions to our golf staff:
Ken Blick, PGA Associate Professional
A native of Brookfield, Connecticut, Ken joins us from Silo Point Country Club in Southbury, CT, where he served as Assistant Golf Professional following his graduation from the University of Delaware. Currently progressing through the PGA Program, Ken brings a passion for the game and a competitive spirit—along with his enthusiasm for cheering on his favorite New York teams: the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers.
Selim Cinar, Teaching Professional
Selim brings more than nine years of experience at premier private clubs throughout the Metropolitan area. Most recently, the lead instructor at Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY, Selim is a dedicated teacher with a deep commitment to player development. He began his golf career at the Country Club of Fairfield and proudly served four years in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant and deploying during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Ken and Selim—we are thrilled to have them as part of the Summit team.
Familiar Faces & New Additions
We are equally excited to welcome back our Player Services team, including Eric Flores, Zach Palmieri, and David Varon, whose commitment and energy help set the tone for your experience each day.
Adding something new this season, our **Food Truck team—Alex Semple and Ivan Cortes—**will be on-site and serving Fridays through Sundays during the month of April. It’s a great addition to enjoy before or after your round.
Course Conditions & Improvements
Behind the scenes, Golf Course Superintendent Chris Alonzi and his team are hard at work preparing the course for the season. From patching cart paths to ongoing course enhancements, their focus remains on delivering the best possible playing conditions as weather allows throughout the spring.
As we begin the season, we encourage you to take advantage of all that’s planned—whether it’s refining your game, participating in events, or simply enjoying time on the course with family and friends.
If you have any questions regarding our golf or instruction programs, please feel free to reach out directly to Michael.
We look forward to a fantastic season ahead and to seeing you out on the course.
Sincerely,
Michael Davis, PGA
